Ninja Print on Demand — Brand, Sales, & Marketplace Compliance Policy
(Branded + Private Label Apparel & Accessories)
Ninja Print on Demand (“Ninja POD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a print-on-demand decorator and fulfillment partner. We source select blank apparel and accessories through authorized channels, apply approved decoration (e.g., embroidery, screen print, heat transfer), and ship finished, decorated goods to our customers—including merchants who may resell.
This policy sets out the brand-specific sales, advertising, decoration, channel, and geographic rules that apply to certain product lines fulfilled by Ninja POD. These rules help protect brand reputation and ensure compliant resale.
If you are a Ninja POD customer and need proof you are permitted to resell decorated items produced and supplied by Ninja POD, this page may be used as supporting documentation (often alongside invoices/order confirmations and product line details).
Note: Requirements vary by brand. Where rules differ, the most restrictive requirement applies.
1) Brands Covered by This Policy
Branded Products
Nike, OGIO®, The North Face®, Carhartt®, Champion®, Cotopaxi®, TravisMathew, New Era®, Eddie Bauer®, Red Kap®, Spacecraft®, Tommy Bahama®, Brooks Brothers®, Bulwark®, Alternative®, Wink™, Russell Outdoors™, Outdoor Research®, Tentree®, STANLEY/STELLA, Adidas, American Apparel, Berne, Columbia, Dickies, DriDuck, econscious, Fairway + Greene, HUK, Jaanuu, Marmot, Nautica, Nomadix, PUMA Golf, Richardson, Spyder, Swannies Golf, Under Armour, Vineyard Vines, Weatherproof, Zero Restriction, American Red Cross, and American Cancer Society (collectively, “Branded Products”).
Private Label / Private Brands
Port Authority®, Port & Company®, Sport-Tek®, CornerStone®, District®, Volunteer Knitwear™, Mercer+Mettle™, Red House®, Allmade®, AllPro, Core365, Authentic Pigment, Devon & Jones, Harriton, North End, Prime Line, Team365, and UltraClub (collectively, “Private Brands”).
2) Global Rules (Apply to All Brands)
2.1 Conduct & marketing standards
- Do not disparage, misrepresent, or harm any brand or product.
- Do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or collaboration with a brand without express prior written consent.
- Do not use illegal, deceptive, undesirable, or improper marketing/selling practices (including predatory or “loss leader” pricing, bait-and-switch, or negative selling).
2.2 Advertising price / discount limits (when reference pricing applies)
You may not advertise or promote products (or cause them to be advertised/promoted) at prices discounted more than:
- 10% for Branded Products (with certain brand overrides below), or
- 20% for Private Brands
below applicable reference pricing conventions (including coded or published wholesale list references), where applicable. Additional pricing limitations may apply to select brands and/or product categories.
2.3 Promotions
If a brand line is offered at promotional/discounted pricing through authorized channels, you may not advertise deeper discounts than permitted relative to those promotional prices, where applicable.
2.4 Embellishment-only rules
For certain brands, resale is permitted only if the product is embellished. “Token,” generic, obscure, temporary, or purely technical decoration done only to enable resale is prohibited.
2.5 Online marketplace restrictions
For certain brands, online sales may be permitted only on your own website (or another eligible authorized-customer site). Sales on third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Craigslist, and similar platforms) may be prohibited for some brands—see brand rules below.
2.6 Artwork, licensing & IP
You must have rights/permission to use all trademarks, logos, and copyrighted artwork you submit. This includes professional sports, collegiate, and school marks. Ninja POD may refuse orders that present compliance risk.
3) Brand-Specific Rules (By Brand)
Nike
- Must be sold only with embellishment; generic/temporary decoration to enable resale is prohibited.
- Prohibits decoration that negatively impacts the brand (including obscene/vulgar content, violence/illegal activity, and content relating to sex/pornography industries).
- May prohibit designs inconsistent with brand identity at its sole discretion.
- Decorating with professional/collegiate/high school marks requires written authorization of the mark owner and Nike.
- Export outside the U.S. is prohibited (including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
- Online sales permitted only on your own website or other eligible authorized-customer site; third-party marketplaces prohibited.
OGIO®
- Must be resold only with embellishment.
- Brand may prohibit additions not meeting its standards.
- Export outside the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico is prohibited.
- Advertising: OGIO® gear bags may not be advertised below “R-coded” pricing reference (40% margin reference).
- Online sales: your own website/eligible authorized site only; third-party marketplaces prohibited.
The North Face®
- Must be sold only with embellishment.
- Prohibits decoration that negatively impacts the brand (including obscene/vulgar, violence/illegal activity, and content relating to firearms/ammunition, tobacco, sex/pornography industries).
- No company/organization marks without appropriate license/authorization.
- Export outside the U.S. (and its territories) is prohibited.
- Advertising: cannot be advertised more than 10% below coded book price reference (where applicable).
- Online sales: your own website/eligible authorized site only; third-party marketplaces prohibited.
Carhartt®
- Must be sold only with embellishment (blank sales are restricted and may require written approval for specific uniforming uses).
- Prohibits decoration that negatively impacts the brand (including obscene/vulgar, violence/illegal activity, graphic smoking representations, political party/candidate association, sex/pornography industries).
- No company/organization marks without appropriate license/authorization.
- Prohibited end uses may include traditional retail and certain promotional giveaways (as defined by brand rules).
- Export outside the U.S. (and its territories) and Canada is prohibited.
- Advertising: cannot be advertised below coded book price reference (where applicable).
- Online sales: your own website/eligible authorized site only; third-party marketplaces prohibited.
Champion®
- Must be sold only with embellishment; unembellished/blank resale prohibited.
- Prohibits decoration/content that implies endorsement/affiliation with Champion.
- Prohibits explicit, graphically violent, derogatory, profane, pornographic, or obscene content; may also prohibit hate/hate groups and certain politically divisive messaging; restrictions may include promotion of illegal drugs/tobacco/firearms/weapons and irresponsible alcohol use.
- Prohibits decorating with collegiate marks (and sometimes the brand’s own marks, such as the “C” logo) without proper authorization.
- Geographic restrictions: shipment/resale outside North America may be prohibited for some lines.
- Certain channel/customer-type restrictions may apply (including restrictions on selling into specific retail categories).
Cotopaxi®
- Must be sold only with embellishment.
- Prohibits decoration that negatively impacts the brand (obscene/vulgar, violence/hate crimes/illegal activity; firearms/ammunition; tobacco/vaping; political campaigns).
- Liquor or cannabis-related designs may require pre-approval.
- No pro athletic organization or institution marks without authorization.
- Export outside the U.S. and/or Canada is prohibited.
- Advertising: cannot be advertised more than 10% below coded book price reference (where applicable).
- Online sales: your own website/eligible authorized site only; third-party marketplaces prohibited.
TravisMathew
- Must be sold only with embellishment.
- Prohibits obscene/vulgar, violence/hate crimes/illegal activity imagery.
- No pro/collegiate marks without proper authorization.
- Sales to/through golf course pro shops are prohibited.
- Export outside the U.S. is prohibited.
- Advertising: cannot be advertised more than 10% below coded book price reference (where applicable).

- Must be sold only with embellishment.

- Must be sold only with embellishment prior to resale/shipment to end user.
- Prohibits content that is obscene/vulgar, violent, illegal activity, animal abuse, discriminatory/denigrating, or tied to tobacco/illicit substances/narcotics/weapons/sex/prostitution/gentlemen’s clubs/pornography.
- No third-party/pro athletic/collegiate marks without proper authorization.
- Export outside the U.S. (including territories/possessions) and Canada is prohibited.
- Online sales: your own website/eligible authorized site only; third-party marketplaces prohibited.
Brooks Brothers®
- Must be sold only with embellishment prior to resale/shipment.
- Prohibits content that is obscene/vulgar, violent, illegal activity, discriminatory/denigrating, or tied to tobacco/illicit substances/narcotics/weapons/sex/prostitution/gentlemen’s clubs/pornography.

- Brand may prohibit additions that do not meet brand standards or that disparage/negatively reflect on the brand.

Bulwark®
- No modification of brand logo/trademarks permitted.
- Brand may prohibit additions that do not meet brand standards or that disparage/negatively reflect on the brand.
- Export outside North America is prohibited.
STANLEY/STELLA
- Must be sold only with embellishment; unembellished/blank resale prohibited.
- Export outside the U.S. (and its territories) is prohibited.
- Online sales: your own website/eligible authorized site only; third-party marketplaces prohibited.
American Red Cross
- Prohibits negative-impact designs (obscene/vulgar, violence/hate crimes/illegal activity; firearms/ammunition; gambling; alcohol; tobacco; cannabis/vaping; political campaigns).

American Cancer Society

- Online ads must be for a minimum of three (3) units; listings for fewer than three units are prohibited.
- Restrictions on selling to certain industries/entities without approval; no modification of Under Armour trademarks permitted.
- Distribution limited to U.S. and Canada only; no shipping outside U.S./Canada.
- Recordkeeping for at least two (2) years may be required; audit rights may apply.
Vineyard Vines
- Embellishment must be first-class/professional.
- Photography/marketing may require pre-approval.
- Prohibits certain marks and certain industries (including alcohol, tobacco, firearms/ammunition, cannabis, pornography/sex industries, political parties/orgs, extremist groups).
- Prohibits terms such as “cheap,” “excess,” “liquidation.”

6) Compliance Review & Enforcement
To remain compliant with brand protection requirements, Ninja POD may:
- Hold orders for review
- Request documentation (e.g., licensing proof)
- Refuse artwork or cancel orders presenting compliance risk
- Restrict specific brands/SKUs
- Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated/material violations
7) Proof of Authorization / Documentation
If you need documentation to confirm you are permitted to resell decorated goods fulfilled by Ninja POD, we can provide:
- Order confirmations and invoices
- Line-item product and decoration details
- A link to this policy page for marketplace/platform verification
