About this page
This page is for merchants who sell products made by NinjaPrintOnDemand, also known as NinjaPOD ("NinjaPOD", "we", "us"), a brand of Ninja Transfers, LLC, on TikTok Shop, Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, a Ninja Store or any other sales channel. It applies to ninjaprintondemand.com, ninjapod.com and their subdomains, including app.ninjapod.com and stores.ninjapod.com.
Marketplaces increasingly ask sellers for supplier information before a product can be listed: chemical-exposure declarations, product safety classifications, packed shipping weights, handling times and brand authorizations. This page gives you those answers in one place. You may link to it, quote it or attach a copy when a platform asks for supporting documentation.
Setting up TikTok Shop? Start with our step-by-step guide, How to set up TikTok Shop with Shopify and NinjaPOD, then use this page for the listing attributes TikTok asks about.
Under our Merchant Terms of Service you are the seller and merchant of record for everything you sell. We produce and ship the products; you own the listing, its attributes and any warning or disclosure a platform or law requires in it (Terms §23.4). This page helps you fill those in accurately. It is not legal advice.
1. California Proposition 65 statement
Our statement
Ninja Transfers, LLC, doing business as NinjaPrintOnDemand and NinjaPOD, decorates and packs every NinjaPOD product in-house in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Our production and packaging operations are managed to comply with California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Proposition 65).
Based on the declarations of the manufacturers of our blank products and of our production materials, finished NinjaPOD products do not require a Proposition 65 warning, except for any product listed in the table below.
Proposition 65 is a right-to-know law. It does not involve certification, registration, testing approval or any filing with the State of California, and no agency issues a "Proposition 65 certificate" for any product. This statement, together with the manufacturer documentation we provide on request, is the compliance documentation for NinjaPOD products.
Products that currently require a warning
Based on the manufacturers' declarations, the products below require a Proposition 65 warning when sold to customers in California. Every other product in the NinjaPOD catalog does not. We review manufacturer declarations as the catalog changes and update this table, so check it when you add a new product category to your store, especially safety wear, bags and other hard goods, where warnings are more common than in everyday apparel.

⚠ WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

| Style | Product |

| LL535 | Dickies Industrial Long Sleeve Work Shirt |

Warning text for these products:
⚠ WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including nickel (metallic), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.
What this means for your listings
- TikTok Shop: every listing has a "CA Prop 65 Carcinogens or Reproductive Chemicals" attribute. Select No for any NinjaPOD product that is not listed above. For a listed product select Yes and choose the chemical named for it (DEHP or nickel); TikTok then shows the warning on the product page for you. If TikTok asks you for a lab test report (it allows 60 days to respond), forward the request to support@ninjaprintondemand.com with the style number and we will provide the manufacturer's documentation for that product.
- Amazon has its own Proposition 65 attribute; answer it the same way.
- Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce and Ninja Stores: no warning is needed for products that are not listed above. For a listed product, paste its warning text into the product description so it is visible before purchase.
- You are responsible for adding and keeping the warning in your listing for the products listed above, and for any we add later (Terms §23.4).
What we do not disclose
The specific inks, films, adhesives, threads and other consumables we use in production are proprietary and are not published or shared. Our statement above covers them. Where a platform needs a document, provide the manufacturer's declaration for the blank product (available from us on request) and this statement for the decoration and packaging.
2. Product safety classifications
| Platform question | Answer for NinjaPOD products |
|---|---|
| Dangerous goods or hazardous materials for transport? | No. NinjaPOD products are decorated apparel, headwear, bags and accessories. None is classified as dangerous goods under US DOT, IATA or carrier rules. No aerosols, flammable liquids, magnets or pressurized items. |
| Contains batteries? | No. No NinjaPOD product contains or ships with a battery of any kind. |
| Safety Data Sheet (SDS) or UN38.3 report? | Not applicable. Those documents exist for chemicals and lithium batteries, not for finished apparel or bags. |
| Small parts or choking hazard? | Not applicable. NinjaPOD products are not toys and are not intended for children under three. Answer No to choking-hazard attributes. |
| Outer packaging | Corrugated boxes in six standard sizes, from 12 × 9 × 6 in to 22 × 16 × 20 in (see section 3). No special packaging markings are required. |
Children's products (youth, toddler and infant sizes)
Marketplaces treat clothing for children 12 and under as a restricted category. TikTok Shop, for example, requires category approval with a Children's Product Certificate (CPC), a photo of the product's tracking label and a purchase invoice before a kids' fashion or baby listing goes live. The youth and infant blanks in our catalog are tested by their manufacturers under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). To request the certificate for a product, email support@ninjaprintondemand.com with the style number and the platform's document list. A NinjaPOD sample-order receipt serves as the purchase invoice, and the delivered sample gives you the tracking-label photo.
3. Shipping weight and package dimensions
TikTok Shop, Amazon and other platforms ask for the packaged weight and the outer package dimensions of each listing. They use these numbers to estimate shipping rates and choose carrier services. The real label is created from the actual package when your order ships, so approximate values are fine as long as they are not too low.
How to fill in the fields
- Weight. Every product variant we publish to your Shopify store already carries the blank garment's weight, per size, in pounds; Shopify's TikTok Shop channel and other integrations read it from the variant. Add the weight of the box we ship it in (table below) and round up to the next 0.1 lb, or simply use the approximate packaged weight for the category. TikTok accepts decimals in pounds; Amazon asks for ounces.
- Dimensions. Use the box we typically ship that category in, in inches, and keep weight and dimensions in the same unit system.
- Multi-item orders ship together where possible in the next size up. You do not need to model that on the listing.
Our shipping boxes
| Box | Outside dimensions, L × W × H (inches) | Box weight |
|---|---|---|
| Box 1 | 12 × 9 × 6 | 0.51 lb |
| Box 2 | 17 × 12 × 5.5 | 0.81 lb |
| Box 3 | 17 × 12 × 9.75 | 1.00 lb |
| Box 4 | 22 × 16 × 8 | 1.90 lb |
| Box 5 | 22 × 16 × 14 | 2.44 lb |
| Box 6 | 22 × 16 × 20 | 2.92 lb |
Typical box by product category
| Product category | Typical single-unit box | Approximate packaged weight |
|---|---|---|
| T-shirts, tanks, long sleeves and other lightweight tops | Box 1 (12 × 9 × 6) | 1 lb (blank weight + 0.51 lb) |
| Hoodies, sweatshirts, fleece and jackets | Box 2 (17 × 12 × 5.5) | 2.5 lb (blank weight + 0.81 lb) |
| Hats and beanies | Box 1 (12 × 9 × 6) | 1 lb |
| Totes, hip packs and small bags | Box 1 (12 × 9 × 6) | 1 lb |
| Backpacks and duffels | Box 3 (17 × 12 × 9.75) | 2.5 lb (blank weight + 1.00 lb) |
| Multi-item orders | Box 3 to Box 6, by quantity | Sum of the blank weights + the box weight |
We pack every order in the smallest of these boxes that fits it, so the actual box can differ from the typical one. If a platform rejects decimals, enter the next whole pound up. Slightly overstating weight is safe; understating it leads to shipping-rate adjustments and failed label validation.
4. Production time and handling time
Every NinjaPOD product is made to order
- Nothing is pre-made. Production starts when your customer's order reaches us, so every NinjaPOD product is a made-to-order product on every platform. There is no "ships in 2 days" subset of our catalog.
- Orders ship on average within 2–4 business days of reaching production, depending on the product and decoration. Each product page in the NinjaPOD catalog shows its own estimate as "Ships in approximately X–Y business days". Use that product's upper number when a platform asks for a per-product handling time.
- Production and shipping times are estimates, not commitments, and exclude carrier transit time (Terms §11.2).
- All orders ship from Philadelphia, PA with tracking, via USPS, UPS or Amazon Shipping. Tracking numbers post to your store automatically; allow 1–3 business days for the carrier to activate them.
TikTok Shop: list every product as Made-to-Order
TikTok Shop's standard dispatch requirement is 2 business days. Made-to-order production does not meet that, so list all NinjaPOD products with TikTok's Made-to-Order (MTO) handling time. MTO exists for print-on-demand products and allows 3–14 business days of handling time per SKU.
- Eligibility. TikTok grants MTO to shops with a Shop Performance Score of 3.5 or higher and an Account Health Rating above 150, with no active account restrictions and no intellectual-property violations. Enable it under Seller Center → Fulfillment Performance, then activate it per product, individually or by bulk edit. Changes take about 24 hours and apply to new orders only. TikTok's own guide: Made-to-Order. If your shop is not yet eligible for MTO, wait until it is before listing NinjaPOD products.
- Recommended handling time: 5 business days for standard apparel, headwear and bags. For products whose catalog estimate is higher, set the catalog's upper number plus one day. Do not set the 14-day maximum by default; TikTok disables MTO for shops that misuse it.
- Dispatch rule. The order must be in transit within your handling time plus 1 business day. Orders that miss the window count against your shop and can be cancelled and refunded by TikTok, so never set a handling time shorter than the product's estimate.
- Title and description. TikTok requires made-to-order listings to say so, for example "[Made-to-Order] Retro Sunset Hoodie".
- Split shipments. TikTok splits multi-item MTO carts into separate orders, each with its own shipping charge. Price accordingly.
- Pre-Order is a different TikTok feature with a fixed release date and cannot be combined with MTO. Use MTO.
Exceptions to normal production time
- Content and brand review. Designs flagged under our Content Standards or Intellectual Property Policy, and artwork for restricted brands, are held until reviewed. Restricted-brand artwork is normally reviewed within 1 business day. Orders in review do not enter production.
- Out-of-stock blanks. If a manufacturer runs out of a size or color, production waits for restock. Watch your Orders page for orders that need attention and consider offering an alternative color.
- Payment and address problems. A declined production payment or an address that fails verification holds the order until you fix it in the app.
- Peak season. From mid-November through December, allow 3–5 extra business days and raise your MTO handling times accordingly.
- Weather, carrier disruptions and holidays (Terms §11.2). Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays.
- Unusually large orders of one design may take longer. Contact support before promoting a product you expect to sell in bulk.
5. Product identifiers (GTIN, UPC, EAN)
NinjaPOD products are custom-decorated and have no GTIN of their own. Do not enter the blank manufacturer's UPC. That code identifies the undecorated garment, and marketplaces use it to match your listing to the manufacturer's catalog, which can trigger brand-authorization checks or merge your listing with someone else's. We leave the barcode field empty when we publish to Shopify for the same reason.
- TikTok Shop: request the GTIN exemption for custom and made-to-order products when you create the listing, or leave the identifier empty where the category allows it. Apparel, headwear and bags normally qualify; a few TikTok categories require a GTIN with no exemption and cannot carry custom products.
- Amazon: apply for a GTIN exemption under your brand for the relevant categories, or enroll in Brand Registry. Amazon then lists the product without a UPC.
- Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce and Ninja Stores: no identifier is required.
6. Brand names, blank manufacturers and resale restrictions
- Your brand is the brand. List NinjaPOD products under your own brand name. In TikTok Shop's brand field choose your registered brand or No brand. Never enter the blank manufacturer (Port Authority, Bella + Canvas, Gildan, Under Armour and so on) as the brand. Platforms then ask for a brand authorization letter that neither you nor we can provide, and it implies an affiliation the brand owners prohibit.
- Describing the blank is fine. You may state the garment factually in the description, for example "Printed on a Port Authority BG203 Value Backpack, 600-denier polyester".
- Private-label brands are marketplace-friendly. Port Authority, Port & Company, Sport-Tek, District, CornerStone, Mercer+Mettle, Allmade, Core 365, Devon & Jones, Harriton, North End, Team 365 and the other private brands in our catalog carry no third-party-marketplace restriction when sold decorated. Decorated Port Authority BG203 and BG936 bags, for example, may be sold on TikTok Shop under your own brand.
- Many national brands are not. Nike, OGIO, The North Face, Carhartt, Champion, New Era, Eddie Bauer, Richardson, Spyder, HUK, American Apparel, Berne, Weatherproof, Vineyard Vines and others prohibit sales through third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy and TikTok Shop. Several limit resale to the United States or allow decorated resale only. Under Armour, adidas, Columbia and others have conditions of their own. The brand-by-brand rules are in our Brand, Sales & Marketplace Compliance Policy, and restricted brands require store authorization through our restricted-brand application process. When in doubt, choose a private-label blank for marketplace listings.
- Pricing. Brand reference-price rules apply to advertised prices of the blank product lines; a decorated retail price set by you is normally well above them. Do not advertise products with terms such as "cheap", "liquidation" or "excess", which several brands prohibit.
- Proof that you may resell. If a platform asks whether you are allowed to resell decorated branded goods, our Brand, Sales & Marketplace Compliance Policy page plus your NinjaPOD order receipts serve as supporting documentation.
7. Setting up TikTok Shop with NinjaPOD products
NinjaPOD reaches TikTok Shop through your Shopify store and TikTok's Shopify sales channel: TikTok Shop order → Shopify → NinjaPOD fulfillment. There is no direct NinjaPOD–TikTok connection. The full walkthrough is in our guide How to set up TikTok Shop with Shopify and NinjaPOD. The rules that trip people up:
- Seller Shipping is mandatory. NinjaPOD creates its own shipping labels and cannot accept TikTok shipping labels. If your Seller Center only offers TikTok Shipping, stop and contact TikTok Shop support before selling NinjaPOD items; connecting Shopify does not bypass the requirement.
- Keep products assigned to the NinjaPOD location. Map the NinjaPOD fulfillment location in Shopify to the TikTok warehouse you create below. Do not move products to your home location to clear a setup error.
- Check the first order before promoting. Confirm it reaches Shopify with a usable delivery address, reaches NinjaPOD and is accepted for fulfillment, and that the carrier and tracking appear in TikTok after shipment.
- Who to contact. TikTok setup, shipping options or sync: TikTok sales channel → Get Support. NinjaPOD products or fulfillment: support@ninjaprintondemand.com.
| TikTok setting | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Business and customer-service details | Your own legal and business details and a support name, email and phone that you monitor. |
| Pickup (ship-from) warehouse | NinjaPOD HQ: 2727 Commerce Way, Suite 100, Philadelphia, PA 19154, United States. Use your own name and phone number as the contact. Shipping region: United States, all states. |
| Return warehouse | Your own address. You are fully responsible for returns; NinjaPOD does not accept them (see our Returns and Refund Policy), and anything sent to our facility cannot be recovered or resold. |
| Shipping option | Seller Shipping, not TikTok Shipping. |
| Shipping template | Free shipping with the cost folded into your retail price, or quantity-based rates. Use the shipping cost shown in the NinjaPOD app for the product as your reference. |
| Handling time | Made-to-Order on every product, 5 business days (see section 4). |
| Carriers | USPS, UPS and Amazon Shipping. All three are on TikTok's supported-carrier list for Seller Shipping, so tracking validates (Amazon tracking numbers start with TBA, TBM or TBC). |
| Selling region | TikTok Shop US only. Products are made and shipped in the US, which satisfies TikTok's local-fulfillment rule. TikTok Shop UK and other regions are not supported. |

9. Quick answers
The questions platforms ask most often, in the form they ask them:
| Platform question | Answer for NinjaPOD products |
|---|---|
| Prop 65 declarations, required warnings and supporting documentation covering printing materials, trims and packaging | Statement in section 1. No warning is required except for the products listed there (Kishigo hi-vis safety wear and four Dickies work shirts), with the warning text provided. Manufacturer documents for a specific blank on request. |
| Are the products dangerous goods for transport, or do they contain batteries? | No and no. |
| Actual packed shipping weight and outer package dimensions for each model and size | Blank weight per size, synced to your Shopify variant, plus the box weight in section 3, or the approximate packaged weight and typical box by category in section 3. |
| Recommended production-to-dispatch time for Made-to-Order listings, including exceptions | Every product is made to order. 5 business days as the TikTok MTO handling time, or the product's upper catalog estimate plus one day. Exceptions in section 4. |
| May decorated [brand] [style] products be sold here? Any authorization, GTIN or marketplace-pricing requirements? | Private-label blanks: yes, under your own brand, with a GTIN exemption and no brand authorization. National brands: check the Brand, Sales & Marketplace Compliance Policy first. |
